Leachate Treatment Plant
JPG Engineering designed and installed the treatment plant. We designed and built the control system for the plant.
The job is at Alexandria road works site (it is an old tip site). The customer had to provide a leachate treatment system to treat the water before being allowed into the sewer system. We used an Allen Bradley micro850 connected with a Red Lion HMI.
We can remotely access the site via VPN software. We can monitor and modify the PLC, and make changes to the HMI. The pH and dissolved oxygen are monitored while the reaction takes place. The results are kept in trend files in the HMI.
